ABOUT OKUSLIDE®

OKUSLIDE® is a UHMWPE lining that is manufactured by OKULEN. A company that has been producing high quality polymers for 45 years in Germany. Our OKUSLIDE® liner systems can be installed in any application where bulk material flow is restricted, caught or causing excessive abrasive wear. The most common installation in Australia is lining tipper truck bodies however its applications are limitless.

The correct blend of road base consists of 20mm crushed rock and highly compact able fine particles, causing hang up and flow promotion issues when tipping.

EXCAVATION

CONSTRUCTION

Construction and building material haulage can be extremely sticky and abrasive. With an OKUSLIDE® installation it doesn’t have to be.

OKUSLIDE® (Premium Blue)

The low surface energy of OKUSLIDE® compared to other materials such as aluminium or wear resistant steel creates an ultra low stick surface that works better with wet products. The result is a quicker discharge time, lower tipping angle and more time on the road. An OKUSLIDE® liner system can be installed in as little 2 hours and in many different applications.

OKUSLIDE® is a Ultra high moluecular weight polyethylene with selected additives to further reduce static friction, combined with the robust abrasion resistance of UHMWPE it out performs Aluminium, Steel and even Hardox in labratory and field trials. The lower friction co-efficient results in a tipping angle of up to 30 degrees less than aluminium truck bodies. This reduces wear on the hoist, reduces time spent tipping and most importantly a lower center of gravity while tipping. Giving an overall safer operation. OKUSLIDE® can be installed in new builds, or extend the life of an existing build by being installed over an old truck body due for renewal.
